1. On April 28, 2004, the Florida Commission on Ethics found probable cause to believe that Bill Griffith violated Florida Statutes 112.31(3), 112.313(7)(a), 112.3143(3)(a), and 112.3143(4), by serving simultaneously on the board of Baskerville Donovan and SRIA, having a conflicting contractual relationship with Baskerville Donovan, voting as a member of SRIA for approval of payments to Baskerville Donovan, and participating in matters that came before SRIA that inured to the benefit of Baskerville Donovan. They entered an order finding probable cause and left it there. Complaint No. 03-055.

2. $22,000,000 Escambia County Capital Improvement Revenue Bonds, Series 2002 - bond issue that is being used illegally to 4-lane Via de Luna. The Escambia County Comprehensive Plan states that you can only construct public facilities (definition includes roads) in coastal high hazard areas that meet the current need. Traffic studies do not support 4-laning Via de Luna. That money is needed elsewhere. 4-laning Via de Luna was not specified in the bond issue but burying the power lines was specified. Guess what isn't being done? FEMA just awarded a big chunk of cash for roads on Pensacola Beach. I bet they don't know about the $22,000,000 sitting around for Via de Luna.
